Book Roll Please For Tempest Torn ~ Nicole Andrews Moore Cover Reveal

Blurb:

A night of passion. A raging fire. A home destroyed.

The sun returned and Joey and Marti felt they had turned a corner in their relationship. Only when they turned that corner, they ran right into the insurance adjustor, Finn. She wasn't just any woman, though. She was the one woman Joey always believed he’d spend the rest of his life with, but they couldn’t make it work. Soon it was obvious that she didn’t just want to adjust the value of the house, but remind Joey of the value of their relationship, and adjust his attitude about the future.

Suddenly, Joey struggles to choose between two women…one who has never and would never hurt him and one that his heart can’t let go despite the hurt. He’s not the only one with a choice to make. Never again will Marti allow anyone to make her question her own worth.

A tempest brewed. A man is torn. A woman refuses to wait.

FLASH GIVEAWAY FOR SIN AT SEA AND A LOOK IN TO THE AUTHOR.

Author Interview

What sparked your interest in becoming a romance writer?

I often joke that I became a writer of romance and erotica because it was the best way for me to parlay my passions into a career.

What was the first romance novel you read that made an impression on you?

When I was really young, I read The Thornbirds. It was the naughtiest book I could imagine. I remember thinking that I needed to be able to write like that. So, that’s what I try to do.

Tell us 5 surprising things about yourself.

1. I have a tattoo.

2. I want more…small, sexy, meaningful.

3. My palate has really become more sophisticated…as evidenced by my love of sushi and asparagus…sometimes even together.

4. I think cruising is the only way to travel.

5. For someone so intrigued by sex, I didn’t lose my virginity for a really long time.

What type of book have you always wanted to write?

It has taken me forever, but Sin at Sea is the kind of book I always wanted to be brave enough to write. There is something so liberating about not worrying over pushing the envelope. At the same time, I think while writing something very erotic, I kept it classy. That’s important. Even my smut has a story,

Who are your dream dinner party guests?

If I could have anyone come to my parties…Channing Tatum…oh hell, the entire cast of Magic Mike. Ummm…I don’t really think I’d need to invite anyone else…at all. We’ll keep it nice and intimate.

Top three things on your bucket list.

1. Take a Mediterranean cruise.

2. Explore Greece

3. Take a hot air balloon ride. That one might be challenging since I also have a fear of heights. Still…

What’s your favorite body part of the opposite sex?

The chest. I like a nice chest to rest my head on.

What’s an absolute no-no in a relationship?

Cheating. That’s a deal breaker.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Nope. I believe in lust at first sight.

Boxers or Briefs? Boxer briefs

Planner or Panster? Planner

White wine or red? White

Coffee or tea? Tea

Twilight or Fifty Shades? Fifty Shades

Optimist or pessimist? Optimist

What made her decide to be an erotica author?

Simple.
How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?
Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.

Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.

EVERYBODY ON BOARD FOR THE TOUR: Sin at Sea by Emma Nichols (A Sinful Novella, #1)

Blurb:

When Alysin decided to surprise her boyfriend at work with dinner, the surprise was on her. Since he was going at it with his secretary on the conference table, she packed a bag and called her BFF. Jolie and Alysin had been traveling the country, working as digital nomads for ten years ever since graduation. Taking this as a sign it was time for a new move, they decided to take a cruise, regroup, and make a plan.
Then she meets Mr. Bedroom Eyes. Following her lead, they pretend to be married so that she can rid herself of the guy who started hitting on her before the boat left the dock. Though it was supposed to be a momentary arrangement, he asks her to take it one step farther. Then another and another. The cruise promises to be memorable in every way that matters.
Along the way, Alysin learns that she won't have to fake an orgasm if she's with someone who knows what to do, that not all men suck, but the best ones suck really well, and that sometimes what starts out as something pretend, can fast become something completely real. Will the woman who lives life with no regrets, regret that she made that stupid rule about not exchanging names and contact info?

Excerpt...

The new guy sat down.  I stared over at him.  “Hey, don’t mind me.  I just ended up getting drawn into your little charade.  Hope you don’t mind if I enjoy my meal while we keep up appearances?”  He smiled

“Nope.  We’re good,” I replied.
Though I was smiling at him, I had little to say.  There was so much going on in my mind…and thanks to Jolie, having an orgasm wasn’t part of that.  Still, I wasn’t going to turn down the possibility of some amazing guilt-free sex with a hot guy for anything.   Only I wasn’t sure how to gain his attention.  My smile hadn’t worked.  The kiss hadn’t accomplished anything.  What was it going to take to get a man like that to be interested in spending a few meaningless days on a cruise with me?  Guess I’d simply have to try the direct approach.
“Are you married?”  If that didn’t break the ice, nothing would.
“No,” he said, cocking his head.

I leaned in.  “Really?  Because you look like the marrying kind.”  I took another bite of my potato salad.

Throwing his head back to laugh, he said, “I run too fast.  No one can catch me, let alone keep up!”

“Thank you for saving me.  I’m here with my friend.  She is napping right now.  I’m not used to having to fend off guys anymore,” I admitted as I kept on eating.  Isn’t it nice when you don’t want anything from someone and you can just be yourself?  That was the freedom I felt around Mr. Bedroom Eyes.

He smiled and I saw he started to extend his hand.  I knew he was about to introduce himself, so I stopped him.  “Listen, you can tell me your name, but I’m just going to forget it.  I’m lousy with names.”

“Okay, so we’re not exchanging names?  Is there anything you would like to exchange?”  He smirked.

“Yes, as a matter of fact.  How about bodily fluids?”  I smiled and stared at him with a suggestive look.

He…choked on his Coke.  When he finally stopped coughing, I was about finished eating.  I don’t let much come between my food and me even if I don’t look like it.
“Sorry, I’m not used to women being so direct,” he said with a smile as he wiped his face.
“I don’t play,” I said honestly.  Then I stood.  I am known for my exits.  As I turned, giving him full view of what I considered my best feature, I shot over my shoulder, “Think about it.”  Then I walked away.  Always…and I mean always leave them wanting more.  I didn’t have to look back to know that he was staring at me.  Let him stare.  With my head up and shoulders back, I headed to the elevator.

Dark Dawn by Melissa Brodsky, Nicole Andrews Moore

Blurb:

In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth, and everything in between. The In-between was unplanned, unexpected, and unwelcome. Every action causes a reaction and when mankind was born, so were the Fae. Suddenly it was up to Heaven to save Earth. God created Angels to right his wrong, to save human kind. A deal was made, an agreement of sorts. The Angels would protect humanity from Fae domination and destruction, and in return they would have inhuman strength and immortality. Thus a time of angels swooping in to save humans from free will, bad decisions, and big mistakes began. They protected humans from the Fae who intentionally enslaved them, leaving shells of humans, or worse, leaving nothing at all.

Even God doesn’t always learn from mistakes. Angels were given freedom of choice. Some Angels chose wrong. When some of them spread their wings, they went too far, and just as Icharus was punished for getting too close to the sun, they were punished for getting too close to mankind.
So they fell. Falling was the easy part

Cherry0Blossoms Interviews JB McGee

Author Interview

My first interview on this blog! And I'm really excited so I'm going to start with the wonderful  JB McGee.

ME: Tell us is there anything about you that people don't already know?

JB McGee: I think a lot of people know I’m a musician, but I don’t know if they realize I played in a band some growing up. My late grandfather had a band that played local gigs. They mostly did big band music. He played the drums. My mom played keyboard and sang. Once I learned to play the clarinet, they started letting me play at some of their jobs. I also sang a couple of duets with my mom on jobs and for my church.
As an adult, I’ve not played my clarinet in years. I no longer have a piano. So I’m out of shape where music is concerned. I think that is why music plays such a huge role in my writing. I do miss performing and playing.

ME:  Are the names of the characters in your novels important?

JB McGee: Some of them are, but most of them aren’t. My family knows the names that are important.

ME: What are the most important attributes to remaining sane as a writer?

JB McGee: Ha! If you figure that out, then let me know. I’m not sure. I would say being organized is important. I try, but I have a long way to go with that. I also think it’s important to try to document all these inner thoughts going through your head if you’re not in a position to be able to actually write.

I know lately my characters are always doing something in my head and it certainly makes me feel like I need to be in a psych ward.

ME: What is the most demeaning thing said about you as a writer?

JB McGee: Hmm – there have been a lot of things. There was one person who left reviews on my books based solely on the preview. They said that I must have paid people for my reviews or had my friends and family write them because there was no way that I deserved all the four and five star reviews I had received.

I’m thankful Amazon removed the reviews.

ME: How do you react to a bad review of one of your books?

JB McGee: If it’s constructive criticism then I usually listen. I have heard from readers that they can see tremendous growth in each book I write. I would attribute a large part of that growth to reading negative reviews. I won’t usually respond to negative reviews. But I do read them all.

ME: What was the hardest part of writing your book?

JB McGee: Starting. I have the hardest part usually with the first 10,000 words. Once I get that down, it’s usually smooth sailing.

ME: Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it?

JB McGee: I’ve learned a lot. The biggest thing I think is to try to write as cleanly as possible so you don’t have to edit a bunch in the end.

ME: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

JB McGee: There are a lot of messages in my novels. Ultimately, it’s about new beginnings, leaving the past in the past, forgiving those who have hurt you, building trust, and overcoming loss. Then, in Conspiring, the theme seemed to be that ‘things aren’t always what they seem’. That definitely was my theme as I wrote and my outline was quickly tossed out of the window because the characters changed for me as I wrote them. They weren’t what I had originally thought them to be.

ME: Have you ever read or seen yourself as a character in a book or a movie?

JB McGee: Yes, but I don’t want to say which character it was. LOL

ME: Who designed the covers?

JB McGee: Keary Taylor did the Broken cover and has done all of my jackets. I’ve done the other eBook covers.

ME: Describe in 5 words, your writing:

JB McGee: Real, angst, romantic, dramatic, funny

ME: When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

JB McGee: For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher.

ME: What do you use to write your book?

JB McGee: I write on my computer.

ME: Do you listen to music while you writing or reading?

JB McGee: Yes! I never write without my ear phones in and my Spotify on.

ME: Tell us your latest news?

JB McGee: Big announcement when my page reaches 5000 fans. I can’t wait to share it. I’m also going to be doing a big giveaway.

ME: What book are you reading now?

JB McGee: I don’t have a lot of time to read right now. Between graphic design work and writing, I work about 16 hours a day. The last thing I read was Eyes Wide Open by Raine Miller.

ME: Do you have a nickname?

JB McGee: Several. My mom always called me B, Bran, Brandi Boo, Boo Boo, or Boo. My husband named me Brandi Sue when we were dating. Not sure how he came up with that. JB stands for Jennifer Brandi. Don’t call me Jennifer if you want me to respond. I detest the name and actually had a legal name change when I got married to have it removed. McGee is my maiden name.

ME: What are your pet peeves?

JB McGee: My biggest pet peeve is when people don’t put their grocery cart in one of the designated places or walk it back inside. It drives me absolutely insane.

ME: Do you ever write naked?

JB McGee: Erm, no.

ME: What is your favourite Starbuck’s/coffee shop drink?

JB McGee: I don’t drink coffee. But I used to drink cappuccino sometimes.

ME: What's your favourite fruit?

JB McGee: Hmm – that’s tough. I pretty much love all fruit. I would say fresh pineapple.

ME: What's your favourite tv show?

JB McGee: The Vampire Diaries.

ME: One of your favourite quotes -

JB McGee: She believed she could, so she did.

ME: Do you enjoy giving interviews?

JB McGee: I love giving interviews. I love connecting with my readers in any way possible. Thank you for interviewing me.

ME: Anything else you would like to say to the reads...

JB McGee: Please stay in touch by liking me on Facebook and following me on Twitter. I read every message my readers send.

Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take part in this interview...

Spotlight Tour: Forgiven by J.B. McGee

                                            Blurb:

Gabby and Bradley thought that their pasts would remain dormant, that happiness was theirs for the taking. Still the strongest of relationships can be rocked by the ugliness from a previous life, even if it seems to be a world away. The fact remains an ugly past is never distant. It taints everything it touches, drives permanent rifts between loved ones, and sometimes can ruin everything. Gabby and Bradley must find the only way to battle the past. Forgiveness becomes a light through the darkness, a guide for the lost, and hope for the hopeless. With forgiveness comes bright, new beginnings.

Everyone has a past…good or bad, they are always there. They lurk and linger in the shadows, sometimes reappearing at the most inconvenient times.

Forgiven Excerpt
I have read the same line multiple times. I can’t concentrate, and I feel bad for blowing him off. I’m startled when I feel a finger tapping on my shoulder. I grab my chest with my hand and yank the ear buds from my ears. “You scared the living daylights out of me.” I take a deep breath.

Bradley erupts out into laughter. I glance back and scowl at him, but it doesn’t last long. He’s only in his boxer briefs, and when he laughs all of his muscles clench. I can’t help but smile. “Seriously. You scared the crap out of me.”
He puts his bottom lip out like a puppy dog face. “Awe, I’m sorry.” He holds his hand out to me. “Come to bed, and I’ll make it up to you.”
It’s not like I was going to be getting any studying done anyway. I certainly won’t now that I’ve seen him in his underwear laughing at me. I put my hand in his and push my stuff to the side on the sofa. He pulls me into his arms, our bodies crushing into one another. “I’m not sure I’ll make it back to the bedroom with you,” he huskily breathes.
“Oh?” I ask as he starts to nibble on my ear.
He wraps his arms around my waist and starts to back us up closer to the bedroom. His kisses move down to my neck. I move my head to the side to allow him easier access. I feel like all of the tension I’ve been feeling the last couple of hours is melting away, and I’m turning into pile of mush. I have no idea how he can make me forget I care about anything else in the world with just a touch, just a kiss.
When we are in the bedroom, I notice the flicker of light coming from the bathroom. He keeps moving until he’s backed us in there. There are candles lit all along the wall where the bathtub is. The tub is already filled. There’s soft, soulful music playing. “Told you I didn’t think I’d be able to make it to the bedroom with you.”
He starts to undress me, pulling my sweater over my head. Then he covers my exposed skin with kisses where the clothing had been. I thread my fingers through his thick, dark hair as he makes his way down, unbuttoning my jeans and sliding them down to the floor. “Ha, you’re sneaky. When did you do this?” I ask.
“While I was waiting on you to come home.” His tongue teasingly swirls around my belly button.
I suck in a sharp breath. “Ah, this is why you wanted me to come to bed?”
“Mmm hmm,” he mumbles.
When he’s gotten me fully undressed, I watch as he straightens his body, pushing his boxer briefs to the ground. I reach out to grab his erection. He smiles as I do. “I wish I didn’t have to wait. I mean, it’s not like anyone would know that I didn’t keep the promise. It’s not like I’m in high school and if I got pregnant it would be the end of the world.”
He pushes my hand away and shakes his head. “Stop it. Stop.”
I feel like a child. I hate it when he scolds me like that. He kisses my forehead. “You know you’d regret it. You’d know. That would be enough.”
“I hate that she knows what it’s like to be with you and I don’t,” I whisper.
He pulls me into his arms. “She may have been with me, but I wasn’t with her. I was, but I wasn’t. Does that make sense?”
I shrug. “I guess.”
He pushes me back and tilts my chin. “When we’re fully together, Gabby, it will be a first for me.”
“How?”
“It will be the first time I’ve ever truly made love to a woman. The first time that I loved the woman more than anything in this world. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you.” He softly kisses me. “You have a part of me that no one, and I mean no one, has ever had before.”
