Searching for Tomorrow Cover Reveal

What happens when you find the one person who completes you, and then life conspires against you? How do you set your grief and anguish aside? How do you pick up the shattered pieces, put those pieces back together again, and try to move on?

Katie and Tripp met on the playground the first day of third grade when Tripp tried to rescue Katie from Zack, her twin brother. A lifelong friendship that later blossomed into love began that day.

Broken beyond her own ability to repair, Katie boxes her grief up and attempts to raise her three girls the best she can on her own. As time slowly passes, Katie relives her times with Tripp while struggling most days to even get out of bed. She is reminded of him at every turn.

Zack is Katie's twin brother and was Tripp's best friend. Having lost his own love, he dedicates himself to helping Katie put her life back together. Throw in a mother-in-law who torments at every turn and poor Katie can't even find a chance to breathe, much less a desire to somehow search for tomorrow.

Tell us 5 surprising things about yourself.
  • 1.     I am a PK. If you know what that means, then you know what that means.
    2.     I have always wanted to be a red head with long, beautiful corkscrew curls.
    3.     No matter what I’m doing, I would rather be outside, day or night, hot or cold, rain or shine.
    4.     I was awarded two separate scholarships when I graduated high school. One was a teaching fellowship and the other was for writing.
    5.     I love to cook, almost as much as I like to eat. I spent a couple of years as a private cook for a local family and loved every minute of it

    What is your writing environment?

At the moment, I have a makeshift office in my pantry! If need be, I can shut the door and cut off part of the noise. I hope to have a more permanent space soon.

One of your favorite quotes.

To whom much is given, much is required.

Random things about my novel.

Just a bit of nonsense. I am Kathryn Anne, and my two sisters are Rebekah Elizabeth and Sarah Margaret. My husband is Channing, and my son is Zachary. One of my daughters is Elizabeth, and I still have to work my daughter Brittany into the book. Highlands is my most favorite place in the world to go when my soul need refreshing. Last, but not least, I actually had a great-grandma Tiddy!

Flirting Questions

What does love feel like?

Warm, fuzzy, secure, safe, sheltered

How did you meet your significant other?

In the lobby of the bank that I worked in. I was on all fours under a Christmas tree tightening the screws in the base. What can I say? Baby got back!

If you could take a romantic trip, where would it be?

Any trip I take with Hubs is romantic. One of his favorite things to do is to whisk me away to wine and dine me.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Absolutely! Ask me how I feel about my grandson Grayson!

I am a small-town Southern gal who loves flip flops, chocolate, sweet tea and dirt between my toes. I would rather work in my garden than clean my house. As far back as I can remember, I've had a book in my hand. Reading has carried to places I will never go. It has introduced me to people that I will never meet. When life is great and when it is rough, I've always been able to find a book to carry me through. I finally decided to write down some of the stories in my head and heart after dawdling around and wasting years dreaming. I hope you enjoy reading those stories as much as I love writing them!

Into The Deep By Samantha Young - Review

I loved On Dublin Street so I was super excited when I received this. If you love Samantha's books you’re going to go nuts for this one!!!

To kick things off we start with Charley and Claudia, they just moved to Edinburgh to study abroad. Claudia spots a hot guy handing posters for a party, who can say no to a party lol. So later they hit the party, Claudia is already off chatting up Beck (the hot guy who told them about the party) so Charley goes off looking for a drink, when she turns around and recognizes someone from her past, someone who she never wanted to see again.

What do you when you run in to the first boy you loved and who at the same time broke your heart!

Yep that’s Jake, the boy she fell deeply in love with, with his arm around his girlfriend, well that’s all Charley can take so she runs off.. Charley knows she's going to run in to Jake a lot while she is here but can she learn after all this time to forgive!!

Now this is one of those books that flicks from present to past. The more you read about the old Jake you cannot help but fall for him, BUT we don't get to hear what went down till nearer the end of the book, sorry!!

With all the characters in this book you cannot help but love them all. Of course the main focus is on Charley and Jake, but the under lying story of what’s going on with Beck and Claudia you can’t help but to go, “Aww”.

I must say the present day Jake takes the piss a bit, he just so wants to have his cake and eat it, I found I really wanted Lowe to get in there so he could have a shot, hey maybe in the next book we may see him find a nice girl.

This book is based on second chance love.See, that’s the thing about second chances. It’s about two people that are there for each other and support each other and care about each other no matter how much they want to deny it. It’s about one person doing everything they can to make sure the other doesn’t fall and vice-versa. Second chances are about holding on to that other persons hand no matter how hard they beg to let go.

Will Charley learn to trust Jake again? Time will tell!!

I must say after reading this book I liked it, it was good don't get me wrong but I liked On Dublin Street more, sorry girls but I liked Braden better then Jake lol.

Into the DeepLive young. Live hard. Love deep.

Charley Redford was just an ordinary girl until Jake Caplin moved to her small town in Indiana and convinced her she was extraordinary. Almost from day one Jake pulled Charley into the deep and promised he was right there with her. But when a tragic incident darkened Jake’s life he waded out into the shallows and left Charley behind.

Almost four years later Charley thinks she’s moved on. That is until she takes a study year abroad in Edinburgh and bumps into none other than Jake Caplin at a party with his new girlfriend. The bad-boy-turned-good attempts to convince Charley to forgive him, and as her best friend starts spending time with Jake’s, Charley calls a truce, only to find herself tumbling back into a friendship with him.

As they grow closer, the spark between them flares and begins playing havoc with their lives and relationships. When jealousy and longing rear their destructive heads, Charley and Jake struggle to come to grips with what they mean to one another.

And even if they work it out, there is no guarantee Charley will ever trust Jake to lead her back into the deep…

Danielle A. Elwood Take Me Out Blog Tour

“I think it is time we say goodnight,” I said with a frown as I got up off the black leather sectional and headed towards the door with Bentley. I was a little light-headed, but I attributed that to the six pack or Sam Adams we split during the game.
“Thank you for such a wonderful evening, Charlie. I would love to see you again if you would like,” he said, staring at the tips of his shoes and ran his fingers through his hair. He appeared worried that I would run after our deep conversation. He looked unsure of himself, self-conscious, completely unlike his usual domineering attitude.
He held my hand on the way to the front door. At his touch, all rational thought left me. I needed him to have his lips on me. I was aching to feel more of him against more of me. What had gotten into me?
Once we reached our destination, he leaned down and planted a single soft kiss on my lips, just like he did that night at Fenway. His lips were so soft and the electricity between us was beyond belief. It left me wanting more. When he respectfully pulled away like most modest girls would hope for, I blurted out, “ That's it?”

What sparked your interest in becoming a romance writer?

I am a complete romance novel junkie. I love everything about them, and for the longest time I found myself able to really call the twists and turns in a lot of books. I figured, why not give it a try? I love to write so just go for it!

What was the first romance novel you read that made an impression on you?

HA! Some may find it this completely cliché but it was Fifty Shades of Grey. I think that book left a complete impression on everyone who read it. Good or bad.

Tell us 5 surprising things about yourself.

                                       I am only 4' 10” tall.
I had three children in less than four years.
I have a ton of tattoos (one full sleeve, and then some)
I have an addiction to Sweet Tea
I could never live without my childhood teddy bear. (Whom I still sleep with)

What is your writing environment.

Anyplace that is quiet. It could be Starbucks, my living room, bedroom... I really adapt as long as I don't have children screaming in my ear.

One of your favorite quotes

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. - Steve Jobs

Do you have a website recommendation for other writers?

I haven't come across any great author resources, yet. But would love to see what others enjoy!

Who is your perfect hero? And why?

Perfect Hero? That is such a hard question. I think I would say Maya Angelou since she is such an inspirational pioneer in writing.

Which authors have caught your interest lately? Why?

Lately I am loving Toni Aleo. The entire Assassin's series is amazing. As a hockey lover, I just fell in love with all the storylines.

What type of book have you always wanted to write?

An erotic novel. I don't know if I could bring myself to do it, but I hope to give it a try some day.

Who are your dream dinner party guests?

Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Cash, and Martin Luther King Jr. Oh, and my grandparents on my father's side of our family since I never got an opportunity to meet them.

What’s the last movie you watched and loved?

Monsters University. I am such a sucker for Disney!

Most _____________ in high school. (popular, nerdy, sporty…) Why?

Most likely to fail. I had a rough time when I was in high school, and often found myself on the outskirts of everyone.

Top three things on your bucket list.

Travel to Europe, Get braces, and adopt.

How did you get the idea for this particular novel?

Honestly, I was thinking about an amazing love story. Right after I finished one of the many I have read. I thought about the perfect meeting, and how I would want to be woo'ed. While Take Me Out isn't a perfect love, it is one of the closest based to reality.

What is your favorite scene in your new release?

I would have to say the scene where Bentley and Charlotte meet. It truly sets the tone for the entire novel.

If you could be one of your characters - Who would you be? And why?

Jake! He is certain of himself, plus I always want to slap Charlotte and Bentley around.

Flirting Questions

Which actor or book character do you have a crush on?

Oh Jeez! Book crushes? Christian Grey, Travis Maddox, and Jesse Ward. As for celebrity crushes Carey Hart, Adam Levine... oh there are just way too many to name!

What’s your favorite body part of the opposite sex?

Eyes!

What does love feel like?

I don't think love is a feeling we can ever accurately depict with words. The feeling is something so once in a lifetime that there is nothing in the English language to describe the feeling.

Hey, baby! What’s your sign?

Cancer!

When was your last kiss?

About five minutes ago, from a beautiful two year old little girl.

What’s an absolute no-no in a relationship?

Cheating. The cardinal sin!

How did you meet your significant other?

We met in high school.

What’s your idea of a perfect date?

Anything that involves the beach. Dinner on the beach, drinks on the beach, dancing in the moonlight on the beach. I am beach obsessed!

If you could take a romantic trip, where would it be?

It would probably be to London or Paris. Something about those European cities just scream romance to me.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Absolutely.

Flirting Quickies:

Boxers or Briefs? Neither. Boxer Briefs are the way to go. Not too loose, just right.

Facial hair or clean shaven? Clean shaven.

Alpha or Beta? Alpha!

Planner or Panster? Panster!

White wine or red? White

Coffee or tea? Coffee

Vanilla or chocolate? Chocolate

One chance baseball game will change both of their lives forever.
But will their relationship stand the test of ex-lovers, arson, and Charlotte's parents?

Vixen in Vegas Cover Reveal

Blurb:

It was supposed to be a week of simply being, of living in the moment, and enjoying every minute while it lasted. Of course, that kind of intoxication can have lingering effects. For Sin, she found herself wanting to break all the rules, to extend her time with the stranger who stole her heart. Vegas was just the right kind of place to take such a gamble. Meeting up with BE at the gondolas was a risk. Love went against everything they had promised, but the best things in life can’t be planned.

Soon Alysin will be tested.

After guarding her heart for so long, she finally let a man in and discovered that the worst things in life happened when she least expected them. When she walked in on BE with another woman and overheard their heated conversation, she suddenly remembered there was a reason she made these rules.

Will broken rules lead to broken hearts or will she realize that though love was a gamble, she was all in?

Hot Mess ~ Anne Conley Tour

My Review:

This is the first book I have by Anne Conley and I was not disappointed.  The author took a very difficult subject matter  and went for it and I must say she done it well. The whole book was well written all the characters played their parts to keep you gripped. The emotions this book kicks out keeps playing with them heartstrings to no end.

Rachel is such strong characters, she really dose show you life dose go on and to never give up!!
Rachel is a single mom and dose not really have any family as she was disowned by parents when is was younger, she only gets the odd phone call from her bother.
Rachel doesn't really care the only person she cares for is her daughter.

Sam is a hot fire-fighter who moves to a small town to give his daughter a new start after her mother dyes.
As soon as he sees Rachel all bets are off he can't stop thinking about her.

Its not until work your way in to this book you really to get what's really going on and it really dose make you feel sad. I must say this book really did send shivers down my spine. If you love a book with that will send you running for the Kleenex then is book is for you...

About the Author:

Anne Conley lives in a small town in East Texas, not unlike Serendipity, with her husband, two kids and numerous goats.  She brazenly stole her pseudonym from her great-grandmother, a true pioneer woman who raised seven kids alone: churning butter, plucking chickens, knitting clothes, and putting coal oil on every visible wounds.  She also peed standing up, probably because she didn’t have time to go to the outhouse.  Anne loves hearing from her readers, so contact her to let her know what you think.

Its Here L.Chapman Debut Book Trust Out Now!!!

Teaser:

We sit there talking about plans for holidays this year; Mark informs me he has just come back from America. He had been to a Fairfield in Connecticut for a work holiday, but he still got to go to his favourite donut shop, managing to get some donuts with chocolate with sprinkles.
“Beth introduced me to them. She is one of the ladies who work for the company, but she is based over there.”

“Oh, that was nice of her,” I state while wondering if they have a past. Were they a couple?
“These donuts are nothing like the ones you get here. They were amazing. I will have to get you some to try next time.” Mark states.
“I have never been to America at all; actually I have never been abroad. Those donuts sound nice though.”
“Are you a chocolate girl?”
I nod, who is not a chocolate girl?

Sin at Sea (a sinful novella) by Emma Nichols – Review

Release date: June 25th
Genre: Erotica
Author: Emma Nichols

My Review:

What a sexy little number this is. Right off the cuff I knew this was a bedroom book lol.

I like a good Erotica book that has a fab story to go with it.
This is the first book written by Emma Nichols and its a must read. With all the sex that goes on in this book, which there is a lot, we go from F/F, M/F/F, and even M/F/M/F plus a lot of hot hot sex from Alysin and Mr Bedroom Eyes.

We start off with Alysin who catches her boyfriend F***ing his secretary, well this it for Alysin, she does what she does, runs, packs her bags and she's off with her BFF Jolie.

Alysin and Jolie have been friends for over 10 years and they both have each others backs, making a pact: "Never Settle and Never Settle Down"

After picking up Jolie they head off into the sunset (You could so see them doing a Thelma & Louise.) They decideto take a cruise, and make a new plan.

Alysin goes off on her own, having to be rescued by sex on legs lol but Alysin calls him Mr Bedroom Eyes, he rescues her from a jerk who just won't  take a hint by being her fake husband. But Mr Bedroom Eyes has other ideas and persuades her to carry on with their fake marriage for the rest of the trip.

But can they stick to the rules. Don’t exchange names or contact information, and don't fall in love.!!!

This was a quick and heart racing read that will leave you blushing for hours lol in a good way.

I Love Quotes!!

“Just so you know, I'm strictly a taco girl. I have tried sausage, but it's not for me."

“Kyle, its a toothbrush and some panties. Keep them. Wear them if you want. It's the only way you are getting back in my panties again.”

“I’ve never been this horny before…not even when I was teenager. I swear…I am ready for you the moment you look at me with those lustful eyes,” murmured into my ear and he nuzzled me close on his lap. “I don’t understand it.”

“He reached out and grazed my face with the back of his hand. “You are the perfect wife,” he said. “I’ll never have better.”
 .

Keep an eye out for the next book from Emma Nichols
Vixen in Vegas..
Were we will see what happens next for Alysin.
