                Hiding Out Short Excerpt

“Is that what you like?” The words had come out all wrong. What she really intended was to check for understanding. She should have said, ‘Would you like me to handle that?’ The minute the words escaped the safe but sensual confines of her lips, Haley Iverson cringed on the other end of the phone. What was it about that man that made her bungle her phrasing? She bit her lip while she awaited a response.

Samuel Davenport’s eye brows had arched instantly. Every time he spoke with his assistant, he was left feeling like a dissatisfied 1-900 caller. It was something in her voice, the sexy, yet professional way she spoke. Or maybe it was in the way he imagined her soft, full lips curving to form each word. It might be the way he pictured her sitting at her desk with her shapely legs crossed, exposing ample calf, slender ankle, and whichever open toed shoe she was sporting that day. He shook his head slightly to focus on the question at hand.

Is that what you like? He wrapped his mind around the question. “Oh, yes, Miss Iverson,” he said, his response immediately taking on a double meaning. He pushed the button to disconnect then, and leaned back in his leather chair, spent.

Here's the upcoming book from Beth Michele

This is soon to be released book by Beth Michele.

Love Love Synopsis

Gabrielle Willis is smart. She's funny. And oh yes, she's a bit klutzy.

When Gabrielle left sunny California bound for the energy of Manhattan, she was willingly leaving the life she had known, for the new life she would create. But was she really leaving something behind, or was she running away.

On the outside Gabrielle Willis has it all under control. A new life in Manhattan, a great roommate, and a good job.

But she was haunted. Haunted by a memory she's tried to forget, and by a family who's abandoned her. But what happens when what's on the outside is only an illusion, and in perfect contradiction to what's buried deep within.
Enter Dane Rhodes. He's gorgeous, smart, and sexy as hell.

Just what Gabby wants, or so she thinks. But when she meets Brad Dixon, the sweet guy with the crooked smile, he begins to make her see that the very thing she is trying to run from, is the very thing that just may push her to see the light.

Here we go again I think this is going to be another book that I will not be able to put down.
From the teaser I read I think its going to be fab can not wait......
Keep reading to find the teaser!!!

Teaser!!!!!!!

Apparently, I’ve never walked through a door before, because when he opens it, the feet that I so often rely on have no idea what to do. I look down at my awkwardness telepathically expecting them to respond, and then wait. Still nothing, so I look up. My eyes sweep the length of his body. The natural inclination would be to look into his green emeralds, but it’s impossible not to move lower, a lot lower. I can almost trace a line through the bunched cream fabric of his pants. Is it even real? It should be illegal to walk around with that thing. Dane’s lips part, forming a perfect O, for orgasm I believe. The one I’m about to have all over his brand new hardwood floors. His lips curve up in a delicious smile. “See anything you like?”

My blue eyes manage to crawl back up to his green. “Nah, not really.”

Beth loves to laugh and loves to have a good cry, especially after reading a novel that stretches her soul, one that makes her feel, and lingers in the corner of her beating heart.
Beth began writing when she was in middle school, penning anything from short stories, to poetry, and then later moved on to write children’s books. Her debut novel, Love Love is due out May 8, 2013.

Hiding Out by Nicole Andrews Moore

I had the delight of reviewing Hiding Out by Nicole Andrews  Moore. It was the first book I had read by Nicole, what can I say I really enjoyed this book I knew from the way it started I was not going to be able to put it down, I devoured this book within 24 hours. The whole book was amazingly written all the characters played their parts well to keep you gripped.

Hiding OutHaley Iverson was a young woman who was happily engaged till one night changed her life for ever. She was brutally attacked by her partners best friend, she had no one to turn to so she ran away to New York to get help from her old college roommate Ellen.

When she gets to Ellen's she is that badly bruised that Ellen did not recognise her. It takes Haley months after moving in to work up enough courage to go outside, with Ellen's help she is able to take some control of her life and rejoin the world again.

People say time heals all wounds. I say time heals wounds but scars are left to remind you what you have been through and survived.

Ellen works as a personal assistant for an advertising agency and is soon to go on maternity leave so she gets Haley a job there as a temp till Ellen gets back.

Samuel Davenport runs his family's advertising agency and is one of the best in advertising but when his new temp starts he just can not work her out she is different from any other women he has known, she is shy and jumps 10ft whenever he does anything and wears clothes that are way too big for her, but there is something there that keeps drawing him to her.
So he goes and see his family Doctor on the next floor and tells him what she is like, "well", the Doctor goes, "I'd speculate and realize that this is without having met her, that she's been attacked, possibly even raped".
Well after hearing that he will do anything he can to keep her safe.

Adam Davenport is Samuel's younger bother who owns half of the agency but leaves it to his big bother to run it all, because running a company is way too much of an adult thing to do and it gets in the way of him picking up women and having fun.

I have only touched lightly on what's goes on in this book because I don't want to give away all the juicy details, lol.

Thanks again to Nicole I really loved this book and I can not wait for book 2 to come out.

     Jen's favourite saying:

No matter how tough the past was, the future holds the key to true happiness, our bruises and scars just make us realize how strong we really are.

I wear my scars proudly. They represent the battles through which I have gone, and I am proud because those battles I have won.

The blade don't make scars, the people who bully people make scars, depression makes scars, love makes scars, being judged make scars, like I said the blade don't make scars, you do. The people that always got something to say.

Reflected in You by Sylvia Day

Sylvia shows us again her crazy world with Gideon and Eva.

In Bared to You you find out all what happened to Eva and only touches lightly on what happened to Gideon. In Reflected in You what can i say is WOW

As soon as this book was derived I started reading it and I was still reading it at 2 in the morning (Yes I know but I just had to know what was going to happen next).
I wondered with all the ups and down they have which , yes they have every right to act the way they do because of there past.

Would they be able to put it all aside... (Not yet any way)

Eva trust issues run wild in this book but Gideon don't help mattes and gives her every reason not to trust him, but then again Gideon Ex Corinne and his friend Magdalene set Eva up to make her Jealousy on purpose.

Eva makes a bad decision and plays a little tit for tat with an ex, which Gideon

sees and they spend the whole night arguing and having sex so they could put it
passed them. They spend the weekend remembering the love and passion they gave to each other..

Poor Cary has a rough time in this book, he is just as fucked up because of his past and really dose struggle to overcome it and makes a lot of mistakes but it was really lovely to see him and Eva have such a strong friendship and are really they for one another.

With all that happens in this book we finally find out what happened to Gideon. It made me feel really sad for him, it even brought tears to my eyes.
I'm not going to tell you what happened because you should really read the book to fully understand Gideon's character and why he is so controlling and obsessive plus he has got that whole dark and tortured soul going on about him..

Well what else can I say these books are really worth reading Sylvia Day dose her job well. The way she show you that this is not just a love story it shows you the struggle of two people try to overcome there past and to move on with there future. They remember the way they changed each other..

XOXOX

                                                    My favourite quotes

“You’re the greatest risk I’ve ever taken.” His pressed his lips gently to mine. “And the greatest reward.”

“I am obsessed with you, angel. Addicted to you. You're everything i've ever wanted or needed, everything i've dreamed of. You're everything. I live and breathe you. For you.”

“He caught me to him, his arms banded tight around me. His face pressed into my throat. "Where do we go from here?"I held him. "Wherever this takes us. Together."

“He was my drug, and I had no desire to kick the habit.”
