We kick off with the prologue of Megan which shows us the fun loving Megan who was happy and in love.
Next the story starts; Megan and her best friend Jenny go shopping in London to settle the last of the plans for Jenny's wedding. Later that evening the girls decide to go out for a drink in a nearby bar. While at the bar Megan could not take her eyes off this sexy good looking man and then their eyes lock on one another.
Mark sees this beautiful woman come in to the bar and he can not stop looking at her, in no time he goes over to her. Mark's drawn to her, he just has to know more about this woman.
Megan had been crushed from her past relationship, she can't let her guard down to trust anyone else. So she makes it clear to Mark that they can be only friends. But Mark does not give up that easily, so they spend most of their time together while Megan is in London and slowly she starts letting her walls down.
Well the story doesn't end there, that's all I am saying as I don't want to give the game away lol.
This really was a fun book to read, full of ups and downs to keep you wanting more.
I really enjoyed L. Chapman's style of writing the detail on characters the lust,the strength some of them show really work's. I honestly cannot wait to see what the next book brings.
With that being said I would like to make a point, we all have different ways of writing and speaking; I am from Kent and L.C is from Yorkshire and there is lots of things we say and write differently even though we are both live in the UK.
In the rare ...times that L. is not working to help others or maniacally writing, she enjoys making a mess of things while creating beautifully detailed greeting cards. She spends time relaxing with family, friends, and good books. L. loves to travel and has been to many places in the United Kingdom; her favorite places all involve the ocean. She hopes to one day share a kiss with her happily-ever-after in the romantic shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Should she ever get over her fear of flying, those kisses may be shared in the shadows of the Egyptian Pyramids.
Ever the fussy eater, L. has never once tasted peanut butter, and she despises coffee. If you should feel the need to bribe her, it is suggested that you bring chocolate, as that is one of her known weaknesses.
