Lacey Benoit is in need of a fresh start. Her best friend, Dr. Zoe Millis, has been begging her to make the

Living in San Diego definitely has its perks, such as, sunshine and beaches. The best part of moving to the west coast, however, is that Steven is still on the east coast. Catching your almost husband having sex with one of your bridesmaids on your wedding day would make even the strongest woman jaded. Therefore, Lacey has sworn off men for a while, especially men who travel a lot that have easy access to loose women.

When Lacey meets the new enforcer for the San Diego Scorpions, she thinks she might be in trouble. But she is determined to fight her attraction to the sexy NHL hunk. And she is successful...for about a day.

move from Maine to California. Taking a leap of faith, Lacey does just that.

Trailer for The Enforcer:

Vlad Bejsiuk is the goalie for the NHL’s San Diego Scorpions. He’s been in love with Zoe Millis almost from the moment he met her. He knows she’s got a thing for him too. Life is great! Right? No.

Zoe Millis is the sports psychologist for the Scorpions. There are very strict rules about doctor/client fraternization. Zoe understands this, and even though it’s hard for her, she abides by it. Well, 99% of the time. Everyone slips up now and then.

Vlad tries to lure her to him with his friendship. He uses his charm and good humor. He assures her that no one will know of their relationship, but she is adamant. Zoe does not break the rules. Well, not more than once … or twice.

What can he do? He is determined to find a way to break her down and make her see things his way. Vlad will interfere with every date she has if that’s what it takes. Who knows? A little goalie interference could go a long way to getting him what he wants, or will he be forced to give up one love in order to keep the other?

Tailer for Goalie Interference:

 Get To Know You Interview

Tell us is there any think about you that people don't all ready know?

Tons! I'm a Harley rider. I am still afraid of the dark. Aerosmith and Motley Crue are my favorite bands of all time. I have two tattoos. I'm writing an erotic novel under a pen name.

As your books are so emotional. How long does it take for you to be able to get the characters out of your mind and move on to the next?

I don't think they ever leave, but with a series, like my NHL Scorpions, they don't have to. They make apperances here and there.

Are the names of the characters in your novels important?

Extremely! Jody LaGrange is the enforcer in The Enforcer. My favorite enforcers in the league are Jody Shelley and Craig Berube. Berube's nickname is Chief, hence LaGrange's nickname of chief in the book. In Goalie Interference, I pick a Ukranian goalie because there are a lot of Russina/Ukrainian players in the NHL and my sister is married to one. It just fit.

What are the most important attributes to remaining sane as a writer?

Letting go when it doesn't flow! Sometimes you have to take a step back so that the words have time to work themselves out. Also - do NOT put too much stock into nasty reviews. Some people just aren't happy unless they're bashing others. But, take the constructive critisim to heart and learn from it.

What is the most demeaning thing said about you as a writer?

I haven't had anything demeaning said to me about writing. Everyone who knows thinks it's really great!

How do you react to a bad review of one of your books?

Depends on the review. If it's well written and their honest feelings, how can I say they're wrong? I know my books aren't for everyone. The reviews that make me see red are the ones written by nasty people. But they're everywhere, not just writing reviews.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Not having the middle of the book read like filler. The first book was very trying. I felt better doing the second. Oh, and re-writes. Ugh, rewrites are a bitch...

Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

The Enforcer has a strong message. Concussions are all too common in the NHL. These athletes, just kids really, are killing themselves. Overdosing on oxycotin and other pain killers. They're depressed and aren't getting the help the need. A lot of the doctors just throw more medication at them.

Who designed the covers?

I picked out the pictures I wanted to use and then David Golhahn designed them for me. I LOVE my designer. He is the best to work with and always comes up with things I love.

When your were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?

Teacher

What do you use to write your book?

Desktop PC. I hate laptops.

Do you listen to music while you writing or reading?

No. I need silence.

What book are you reading now?

Reading the entire Sherrily Kenyon Dark Hunters Series...for the 3rd or 4th time. :)

Do you have a nickname?

My husband calls me Feeshkins. I worked at a doctor's office when we met and I used to put old medical records on micro fiche. So he started calling me Feeshkins.

What are your pet peeves?

Bad grammar. I can take a misspelled word now and then, but if a book is riddle with errors, I won't read it. Also people who won't get out of the left hand lane!

Do you ever write naked?

I have not.

What is your favourite Starbuck’s/coffee shop drink?

I hate coffee. I'm a Coke Zero or Diet Pepsi girl.

What's your favourite fruit?

I don't like fruit.

What's your favourite tv show?

Aside from a Flyers hockey game, I'd say The Vampire Diaries or Game of Thrones.

One of your favourite quotes -

Dream until your dreams come true.

Do you enjoy giving interviews?

I don't mind it. I haven't done too many.

Five Fun Facts:

I name my Harley's. My husband's was Rosie the Road King and mine was Lizzie the Low Rider. I haven't named our current one yet.

I take a weeks vacation to Ocean City, NJ every year. The house we rent is ocean view. Beautiful.

My first car was a Mustang, but it was a huge POS.

The last time I went ice skating, I fell so hard I sprained my wrist pretty badly.

I have Jody Shelley's jersey, helmet and stick (he gave me the stick himself at practice!).

Thank you so much for taking part. We can't wait to read more work from you.

I am a country girl at heart who tends to like the simple things...and hockey. Give me a hockey game and I'm set! During intermission, I read. Reading has always been a love of mine since I was a little girl. The books have gotten a bit spicier though. I also like moonlit walks on the beach, strawberries and champagne (ok, dirty martinis actually), and a strong man to hold me...etc., etc., etc. ;)

I live in Hammonton, NJ with my husband of over 18 years. It's not always easy but it's always worth it.

I have a B.S.B.A. in Human Resources and work for a law firm in Philadelphia. The only thing left to say is....GO FLYERS!
