What would you do if you were granted millions of pounds and a face that melts the underwear off of any woman? Meet Theodore Ellis, the business man who parties like a rock star, and has more women than he has room on his bed post to put the notches.
Meet Lilly Parker. With a difficult past; Lilly is cold, closed off and emotionally unavailable in every way. Don't go thinking she's the sweet and innocent victim though, she plays the game better than most men, and is the original use and abuse woman.
She's built her walls ten feet high and topped with razor wire, but Theo is relentless in the face of a challenge and Lilly finds herself besieged by him. Can he get in her pants? Or will the unsuspecting man whore go a step further and finally tear down her walls? Unlikely.
This is no hearts and flowers love story, it is a battle of wills as a woman who trusts no-one denies a man who has never been denied.
Cue fireworks as female sass meets alpha male tenacity.
Besieged will make you laugh, fantasize and perhaps even shed a tear.
The author had me at “What would you do if you were granted millions of pounds and a face that melts the underwear off of any woman?”
I enjoyed this story, and quickly became pulled into the world of Lilly and Theo.
After a chance meeting in a nightclub, Theo is instantly became attracted to Lilly.
Lilly is a intern at a solicitors, but when her boss takes her a meeting with one of the company's biggest client. Lilly is left gobsmacked when she walks into Theo’s offices and realises that he is the same guy she turned down from the club.
I loved the characters. Theo had a trust fund then made millionaire, who lives the wild playboy bachelor life, till a chance encounter with a hot redhead turns his worlds upside down.
Lilly is a strong minded women, with a bad past that has made her put an emotional wall around herself. We really see Lilly put the Theo through the ringer, you can not help but think you go girl you rock with the thing’s she say’s to him.
For a Debut Author this book was really good, it’s written in a too POV’s which really made it flow well, all the characters were well thought out and worked great. I love reading from British authors especially the coz the book is set in London which is not far from me. Well done L.P
You definitely have to read this book but beware the cliffhanger that leads to book 2 that I am now anxiously awaiting! Loved this and can't wait.
